दे॒वो दे॒वै॒र्वन॒स्पति॒र्हिर॑ण्यपर्णो॒ मधु॑शाखः सुपिप्प॒लो दे॒वमिन्द्र॑मवर्धयत् । दिव॒मग्रे॑णास्पृक्ष॒दान्तरि॑क्षं पृथि॒वीम॑दृᳪहीद्वसु॒वने॑ वसु॒धेय॑स्य वेतु॒ यज॑
dēvó dēvaír vanaspátir híraṇyaparṇo mádhuśākhaḥ supippaló dēvám índram avardhayat | divám ágreṇāspṛkṣad ántárikṣaṃ pṛthivīm adṛṃhīd vasuváne vasudhḗyasya vetu yája
The god, the divine Vanaspati, golden-leaved, honey-branched, rich in good fruit, hath strengthened the god Indra. With its top it touched the heaven; it pervaded the mid-air; it made firm the earth: in the winning of wealth, for the treasure laid up, may it bring (success): Sacrifice!
