Mantra 20
धा॒न्य॒मसि धिनु॒हि दे॒वान् प्रा॒णाय॑ त्वो दा॒नाय॑ त्वा व्या॒नाय॑ त्वा । दी॒र्घामनु॒ प्रसि॑ति॒मायु॑षे धां दे॒वो व॑: सवि॒ता हिर॑ण्यपाणि॒: प्रति॑गृभ्णा॒त्वच्छि॑द्रेण पा॒णिना॒ चक्षु॑षे त्वा म॒हीनां॒ पयो॑ऽसि
dhā́nyam asi dhinuhi devā́n prāṇā́ya tvo dānā́ya tvā vyānā́ya tvā | dīrghā́m ánu prásitim ā́yuṣe dhāṃ devó vaḥ savitā́ híraṇyapāṇíḥ práti gṛbhṇātv ácchidreṇa pāṇínā cákṣuṣe tvā mahīnā́ṃ páyo 'si
Thou art grain: shake thou (and) cleanse for the Gods. For the in-breath I take thee; for the gift I take thee; for the out-spreading breath I take thee. Along a long course, along an onward path, do I set thee for life. May the god Savitar, of golden hand, accept you; with faultless hand may he take thee, for sight. Thou art the milk, the nourishing sap, of the mighty ones.
