दर्भाग्नौ वा दहेत्काष्ठं शिवमंत्रं समुच्चरन् । सम्यक्संशोध्य वस्त्रेण नवकुंभे निधापयेत्

darbhāgnau vā dahetkāṣṭhaṃ śivamaṃtraṃ samuccaran | samyaksaṃśodhya vastreṇa navakuṃbhe nidhāpayet

Translation

یا دَربھا گھاس سے آگ روشن کر کے، شیو منتر کا جاپ کرتے ہوئے لکڑی جلائے۔ پھر اسے خوب پاک کر کے کپڑے سے چھان کر، نئے کُمبھ میں رکھ دے۔
