گناہوں کی شانتی کے لیے خاص طور پر آدیوار (اتوار) کے دن شاستری ودھی سے نذرانہ/نِویدن پیش کرنا چاہیے۔ دیوتاؤں میں یہ آدتیہ (سورج) کا دن ہے اور برہمنوں کے لیے اسے خاص پُنّیہ بخشنے والا مانا گیا ہے۔
