Cosmic Event: Cosmogonic hierarchy invoked: Śiva as cause even of Mahat (cosmic intellect)
It establishes Śiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) who transcends all categories—existence/non-existence and manifest/unmanifest—yet remains the ultimate cause behind cosmic principles like Mahat, guiding the devotee toward liberation through right understanding and devotion.
Though Śiva is praised as beyond manifestation (nirguṇa), He is also ‘of all forms’ (sarvarūpa). This supports Śaiva practice where the Liṅga serves as a sacred saguna focus through which the devotee approaches the transcendent Śiva.
Meditate on Śiva as Parātman while repeating the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), contemplating Him as both the all-pervading form and the beyond-form reality; offer simple Liṅga worship with bhakti as the practical expression of this insight.
