Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Sthala Purana: Not a site-specific (sthāla) passage; it is a doctrinal praise of Śiva’s all-pervasion and lordship over the Trimūrti.
Significance: Supports the bhāva that any place/body can become a ‘kṣetra’ when Śiva is contemplated as sarvavyāpin (all-pervading).
Type: stotra
It affirms Śiva as Pati—the supreme Lord who pervades all beings and all states of nature, sustaining life and welfare, while remaining the inner reality present throughout manifested creation.
By describing Mahādeva as present everywhere and within all beings, it supports Saguna worship (including Liṅga worship) as a concrete focus for recognizing the all-pervading Lord who graciously becomes approachable through form.
Meditate on Śiva as the indweller (antar-yāmin) while offering fragrant substances (gandha), bilva leaves, or incense to the Śiva-liṅga, mentally repeating the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to cultivate nourishment (puṣṭi) and steadiness of mind.
