The verse frames divine descent as an act of grace aimed at protecting dharma and generating bhava—auspicious welfare—while emphasizing Śiva-smṛti (remembrance of Śambhu) as a direct spiritual benefit that steadies the mind toward liberation.
By highlighting “Śambhu-remembrance,” it points to Saguna worship—such as Linga-pūjā—as a practical means to keep Śiva present in awareness; sustained remembrance matures devotion and supports realization of Shiva beyond form.
Practice Śiva-smaraṇa through daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Linga worship; the core takeaway is consistent remembrance rather than elaborate ritual.
