kṣapākṣayeṣavalayaṃ dṛśyate kālikāgatā | aṃbudhāviva saṃdīptapāvako vaḍavāmukhaḥ

Translation

رات کے ڈھلتے ہی کالیکا ظاہر ہوئیں اور وہ نِشاپتی شِو کے گنوں کے حلقے میں گھری ہوئی دکھائی دیں۔ سمندر میں وہ وڈوامُکھ آگ کی مانند، پانی کے اندر پوشیدہ رہ کر بھی نہایت تیز و روشن شعلہ بن کر بھڑک رہی تھیں۔
