Tattva Level: pasha
It situates the Satī-kathā within the wider dharmic order of creation—showing how lineages and righteous alliances sustain the world in which devotion to Śiva later arises and bears fruit.
Indirectly: the Purāṇa first establishes cosmic and familial order (pravṛtti-dharma) through genealogies, and within that ordered world the Saguna worship of Śiva—Linga, vrata, and bhakti—becomes the means to transcend it toward liberation.
No specific rite is prescribed in this verse; the practical takeaway is to uphold dharma in household life and support it with Śiva-bhakti—such as daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) alongside pure conduct.
