ब्रह्मोवाच । इत्युक्तो मुनिवर्य त्वं गिरीशेन हिमाद्रिणा । विलोक्य कालिकाहस्तं सर्वांगं च विशेषतः

برہما نے کہا—اے مُنی شریشٹھ! ہِمادری کے ادھپتی گِریش (بھگوان شِو) کے یوں کہنے پر تم نے کالیکا کے ہاتھ کو اور خصوصاً اُس کے تمام اعضاء کو غور سے دیکھا۔
