न त्वामृतेऽन्यां वरये दाक्षायणि प्रिये सती । भार्यार्थं न ग्रहीष्यामि सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीमि ते

na tvāmṛte'nyāṃ varaye dākṣāyaṇi priye satī | bhāryārthaṃ na grahīṣyāmi satyametadbravīmi te

اے محبوبہ ستی، اے دکش کی بیٹی! تیرے سوا میں کسی اور کو نہیں چنوں گا۔ بیوی کے طور پر کسی اور کو قبول نہیں کروں گا—یہ سچ میں تجھ سے کہتا ہوں۔
