Sūta Gosvāmin
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Naṭarāja
It presents bhakti as a direct means of communion with Pati (Śiva): when devotion is offered as a pure, collective celebration (utsava), it becomes an act of loving service meant to please Maheśa, softening the bonds of pasha and turning the mind toward grace.
The verse highlights Saguna-upāsanā—worship of Śiva with attributes—where pleasing the Lord through outward offerings (kīrtana, vādya, nṛtya, festival rites) supports inward recollection of the Linga-principle as the living presence of Śiva.
Devotional kīrtana and nāma-japa are implied: sing Śiva-stotras, accompany with simple music, and keep the mind steady in remembrance of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) as an inner offering alongside outer celebration.
