تمہارے حکم سے دیوی پاروتی نے بڑا تپس کیا۔ اس سے خوش ہو کر میں نے اُسے یہ ور دیا کہ میں ہی اُس کا پتی بنوں گا۔

It shows that steadfast tapas done with devotion bears fruit through divine grace—when the devotee’s discipline is mature, the Lord (Pati) responds by granting the sought union and spiritual fulfillment.
Pārvatī’s tapas culminates in receiving Shiva as husband, highlighting Saguna Shiva as the accessible, grace-bestowing Lord; Linga-worship similarly channels devotion and discipline toward receiving Shiva’s anugraha (grace).
Austerity with regulated worship—observing vrata (especially Mahāśivarātri), japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and disciplined daily pūjā with purity and restraint.
