Himālaya’s Resolution to Give Pārvatī to Śiva
इत्युक्त्वा मुनयस्सर्वे दत्त्वा ते गिरये मुदा । पुष्पाणि फलयुक्तानि प्रत्ययं चक्रिरे तदा
ityuktvā munayassarve dattvā te giraye mudā | puṣpāṇi phalayuktāni pratyayaṃ cakrire tadā
یوں کہہ کر سب رشیوں نے خوشی سے اس پہاڑ کو پھلوں سمیت پھول نذر کیے؛ اور اسی وقت انہوں نے اپنے عزم کی تصدیق کے لیے یقین کی نشانی قائم کی۔

Flowers and fruits are classic upachāras offered to Saguna Shiva (including the Linga) as tangible acts of reverence; the verse emphasizes that the offering’s power lies in pratyaya—firm trust and devotional assent—rather than mere material display.
Perform simple pūjā with flowers and fruits while sustaining pratyaya (steady devotional certainty); accompany it with mental japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to align offering, mind, and intention.
