The verse portrays the sanctity of Śiva–Pārvatī’s union as a divine, dharmic household ideal, where harmony with the Lord becomes a cause for the manifestation of noble, virtuous progeny—symbolizing the fruition of grace (anugraha) in worldly life aligned with Śiva.
By presenting Śiva as the intimate, personal Lord (Saguna Śiva) within sacred marital life, the verse supports devotional worship where the Liṅga is revered as the accessible form of Śiva—one who blesses devotees with auspiciousness, order, and upliftment of qualities.
The takeaway is to cultivate purity and devotion in household life through regular Śiva-upāsanā—daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and traditional disciplines like Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as supports for steadiness and sattva.
