ब्राह्मण उवाच । एतावत्कालपर्य्यन्तम्ममेच्छा महती ह्यभूत् । किं वस्तु कांक्षती देवी कुरुते सुमहत्तपः
brāhmaṇa uvāca | etāvatkālaparyyantammamecchā mahatī hyabhūt | kiṃ vastu kāṃkṣatī devī kurute sumahattapaḥ
برہمن نے کہا: اب تک میرے دل میں ایک بڑی خواہش پیدا ہوئی ہے۔ دیوی کس شے کی آرزو رکھتی ہیں کہ وہ اتنی عظیم تپسیا کر رہی ہیں؟
