देवस्तुतिः—नन्दिकेश्वरविज्ञप्तिः—शम्भोः समाधेः उत्थानम्

सुखमिच्छतु चेत्प्राज्ञो विधिवद्विषयांस्त्यजेत् । विषवद्विषयानाहुर्विषयैर्यैर्निहन्यते
sukhamicchatu cetprājño vidhivadviṣayāṃstyajet | viṣavadviṣayānāhurviṣayairyairnihanyate
اگر کوئی دانا پائیدار سکھ چاہے تو وہ شریعت و ضبط کے ساتھ حِسّی لذّتوں کے موضوعات ترک کرے۔ رشی کہتے ہیں کہ یہ موضوعات زہر کی مانند ہیں؛ انہی سے جیو کا ہلاک ہونا ہوتا ہے۔
