अत्रीश्वरमाहात्म्यवर्णनम् (Atrīśvara-māhātmya-varṇanam) — “Account of the Greatness of Atrīśvara”

सूत उवाच । इति श्रुत्वानसूयाया वचनं सुखदं सताम् । गंगोवाच प्रसन्नाति ह्यत्रेर्दास्यसि मेऽनघे

sūta uvāca | iti śrutvānasūyāyā vacanaṃ sukhadaṃ satām | gaṃgovāca prasannāti hyatrerdāsyasi me'naghe

سوت نے کہا—انَسُویا کے نیکوں کو مسرّت دینے والے مبارک کلمات سن کر گنگا نہایت خوش ہو کر بولی—“اے بےگناہ! تُو اَتری کی زوجہ کے طور پر مجھے ہی دی جائے گی۔”
