ऋषिपत्न्यो वयं पूर्वं ग्रहीष्यामो विदूरतः । पश्चाच्चैव जलं ग्राह्यमित्येवं पर्यभर्त्सयन्

ṛṣipatnyo vayaṃ pūrvaṃ grahīṣyāmo vidūrataḥ | paścāccaiva jalaṃ grāhyamityevaṃ paryabhartsayan

انہوں نے کہا: “ہم رشیوں کی بیویاں ہیں؛ ہم پہلے دور ہی سے پانی لیں گی۔ اس کے بعد ہی پانی لیا جائے۔” یہ کہہ کر انہوں نے ڈانٹا اور ملامت کی۔
