Suta Goswami (narrating the ritual injunctions of the Kailāsa-saṃhitā to the sages)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It emphasizes that Śiva-worship is not merely emotional devotion but a disciplined sādhana guided by an ācārya, where mudrās and proper placement of ritual items help purify attention and establish sacred order.
Mudrās and the conch are supportive upacāras that prepare the worshipper and the ritual space so the mind can steadily approach Saguna Śiva (as worshipped through the Liṅga) with purity, reverence, and correct procedure.
Perform the Dhenu and Śaṅkha mudrās under a teacher’s guidance, then position the conch properly (to the south/right side as instructed) as part of the preparatory sequence for Śiva-pūjā and mantra-focused worship.
