Sukta 8.54

Devata: Indra (with Bhaga as functional epithet/role within Indra’s giving)

यदिन्द्र राधो अस्ति ते माघोनं मघवत्तम । तेन नो बोधि सधमाद्यो वृधे भगो दानाय वृत्रहन् ॥

yád indra rā́dho ásti te mā́ghonaṃ maghavattama | téna no bodhi sadha-mā́dyo vr̥dhé bhágo dānā́ya vr̥tra-han ||

If there is in you a wealth of grace, O Indra—most bountiful giver—then by that become awake to us, companion in the common delight; grow in us as Bhaga for the giving, O slayer of the Coverer.
