प्रकृत्याकोपनंह्येनंपुत्रस्यपुनराधयः ।।।।दीप्तंसन्दीपयामासुर्घर्मेऽर्कमिवरश्मयः ।
prakṛtyā kopanaṃ hy enaṃ putrasya punar-ādhayaḥ |
dīptaṃ sandīpayāmāsur gharme 'rkam iva raśmayaḥ ||
غصہ تو اس کی فطرت ہی میں تھا؛ پھر پُتر کے بچھڑنے کی تازہ اذیت نے اسے اور بھڑکا دیا—جیسے گرمیوں میں سورج اپنی ہی کرنوں سے اور زیادہ دہک اٹھتا ہے۔
