The Slaying of Indrajit
सौरेणास्त्रणतवदीरोलक्ष्मणःपर्यवारयत् ।अस्त्रंनिवारितंदृष्टवारावणिःक्रोथमूर्छितः ।।।।आददेनिशितंबाणमासुरंशत्रुदारुणम् ।
saureṇāstreṇa tad vīro lakṣmaṇaḥ paryavārayat |
astraṃ nivāritaṃ dṛṣṭvā rāvaṇiḥ krodhamūrcchitaḥ ||
ādade niśitaṃ bāṇam āsuraṃ śatrudāruṇam ||6.91.59||
تب اس بہادر لکشمن نے سورَی استر سے اس کا توڑ کیا۔ اپنا استر رُکتا دیکھ کر راونِی (اندرجیت) غصّے سے بے خود ہو گیا اور اس نے ایک تیز دھار، آسُر بाण اٹھایا جو دشمنوں کے لیے نہایت ہولناک تھا۔
Then Lakshmana used a Sun missile and repelled (Indrajith's fire missile). Seeing his missile obstructed, Indrajith deluded with anger used a sharp Asura missile capable of destroying the enemy.
