अयुक्तंनिधनंकर्तुंपुत्रस्यजनितुर्मम ।घृणामपास्यरामार्थेनिहन्यांभ्रातुरात्मजम् ।।।।

Transliteration

ayuktaṃ nidhanaṃ kartuṃ putrasya janitur mama |

ghṛṇām apāsya rāmārthe nihanyāṃ bhrātur ātmajam ||

Translation

میرے لیے، جو باپ کے مانند ہوں، ایسے شخص کی موت کا سبب بننا مناسب نہیں جو بیٹے کی طرح ہے۔ مگر رام کے مقصد کے لیے، رحم کو ترک کر کے، میں اپنے بھائی کے بیٹے کو بھی قتل کر دوں گا۔
