इन्द्रजित्–लक्ष्मणयोर् घोरः शरयुद्धः
Indrajit and Lakshmana’s Fierce Exchange of Arrows
ततस्सन्धायसौमित्रिश्शरानग्निशिखोपमान् ।मुमोचनिशितांस्तस्मिन् सर्पानिवमहाविषान् ।।6.89.5।।
tataḥ sandhāya saumitriḥ śarān agniśikhopamān | mumoca niśitāṁs tasmin sarpān iva mahāviṣān || 6.89.5 ||
تب سومِتری (لکشمن) نے کمان پر آگ کی لپٹوں جیسے تیروں کو جوڑ کر، اسے تیز و مہلک تیروں کی بوچھاڑ سے نشانہ بنایا—گویا بڑے زہر والے سانپ چھوڑ دیے ہوں۔
