Indrajit and Lakshmana: War-Boasts, Rebuke, and the Clash
अनुक्त्वापरुषंवाक्यंकिञ्चिदप्यनवक्षिपन् ।।।।अविकत्थन्वधिष्यामित्वांपश्यपुरुषाधम ।
anuktvā paruṣaṃ vākyaṃ kiñcid apy anavakṣipan |
avikatthan vadhiṣyāmi tvāṃ paśya puruṣādhama ||
میں نہ کوئی سخت بات کہوں گا، نہ کسی جواب سے ٹوکوں گا، نہ شیخی بگھاروں گا؛ اب میں تجھے واصلِ ہلاکت کروں گا۔ دیکھ لے، اے مردوں میں سب سے پست!
"Lowly Rakshasa! without any harsh words, indeed without boasting, commenting, interrupting I will assail you. You may see."
