vividham amalaśastrabhāsvaraṁ tad dhvajagahanaṁ vipulaṁ mahārathaiś ca | pratibhayatamaṁ aprameyavegaṁ timiram iva dviṣatāṁ balaṁ viveśa || 6.85.36 ||

Translation

لکشمن دشمن کے لشکر میں داخل ہوئے—جو بے حد وسیع تھا، جھنڈوں سے بھرا ہوا، بے داغ ہتھیاروں اور عظیم رتھوں کی چمک سے دہک رہا تھا—ہیبت ناک صورت اور بے اندازہ تیزی والا، گویا کوئی گھپ اندھیرے کے انبار میں قدم رکھ دے۔
