इन्द्रजितो यज्ञानुष्ठानं अन्तर्धानं च

अन्तरिक्षेसमासाद्यरावणिंकङ्कपत्रिणः ।निकृत्यपतगाभूमौसेतुस्तेशोणितोक्षिताः ।।।।
antarikṣe samāsādya rāvaṇiṃ kaṅkapatriṇaḥ | nikṛtya patagā bhūmau petus te śoṇitokṣitāḥ ||
فضا میں جا کر رَاوَڻ کے بیٹے تک پہنچتے ہی، پر دار پرندوں کی مانند وہ تیر اُس کے جسم میں کاٹتے ہوئے پیوست ہو گئے؛ پھر خون میں تر ہو کر زمین پر آ گرے۔
