इन्द्रजितः ब्रह्मास्त्र-यागः तथा वानरसेनाविध्वंसः

स्वसैन्यमुत्सृज्यसमेत्यतूर्णंमहारणेवानरवाहिनीषु ।अदृश्यमानश्शरजालमुग्रंववर्षनीलाम्बुधरोयथाम्बु ।।।।
svasainyam utsṛjya sametya tūrṇaṃ mahāraṇe vānaravāhinīṣu |
adṛśyamānaḥ śarajālam ugraṃ vavarṣa nīlāmbudharo yathāmbu ||
اپنی فوج کو پیچھے چھوڑ کر وہ تیزی سے عظیم میدانِ جنگ میں وانروں کی صفوں پر جا پڑا؛ خود نظر نہ آتا تھا اور تیروں کا سخت جال یوں برساتا تھا جیسے سیاہ بادل پانی برساتا ہے۔
