शक्त्याब्राह्म्याहिसौमित्रिस्ताडितास्तुस्तनान्तरे ।विष्णोरचिन्यन्त्यंस्वंभागमात्मानंप्रत्यनुस्मरत् ।।6.59.112।।

Transliteration

śaktyā brāhmyā hi saumitris tāḍitās tu stanāntare |

viṣṇor acintyantyaṃ svaṃ bhāgam ātmānaṃ pratyanusmarat ||6.59.112||

Translation

سَومِتری (لکشمن)، اگرچہ برہما شکتی سے سینے کے بیچوں بیچ زخمی ہوا، پھر بھی اپنے اندر وِشنو کے اُس اَچِنتیہ حصّے کو—جو اس کا اپنا بھاگ تھا—یاد کر کے سنبھل گیا۔
