The Slaying of Dhumrākṣa
ध्वजैर्विमथितैर्भग्नैःखङ्गैश्चविनिपातितैः ।रथैर्विध्वंसितैश्चापिपतितैःरजनीचरैः ।।6.52.12।।
dhvajair vimathitair bhagnaiḥ khaṅgaiś ca vinipātitaiḥ |
rathair vidhvaṃsitaiś cāpi patitaiḥ rajanīcaraiḥ || 6.52.12 ||
جھنڈے ٹوٹ پھوٹ گئے، تلواروں کے وار سے گرا دیے گئے، رتھ برباد ہو گئے؛ اور گرے پڑے راجنیچر راکشسوں کے ساتھ میدانِ جنگ ویرانی سے بھر گیا۔
Indeed, the night rangers were killed, their flags were broken. They were crushed, their swords were destroyed with chariots fallen.
