सेनानिवेशः रामविलापश्च
Encampment on the Northern Shore; Rama’s Lament and Sandhyā
अवगाह्यर्णवंस्वप्स्येसौमित्रेभवताविना ।कथञ्चित्प्रज्वलन्कामस्समांसुप्तंजलेदहेत् ।।।।
avagāhya arṇavaṃ svapsye saumitre bhavatā vinā | kathañcit prajvalan kāmas māṃ suptaṃ jale dahet ||6.5.9||
اے سومِتری! تیرے بغیر میں سمندر میں اتر کر وہیں لیٹ جاؤں گا؛ شاید پھر کام دیو کی بھڑکتی آگ مجھے پانی میں سوتے ہوئے نہ جلائے۔
O Saumitri! Plunging into water alone I will lie down. Probably then the god of love will not be able to consume me while sleeping.
