तमेवंवादिनंरामंसुग्रीवःप्रत्यभाषत ।।6.41.8।।तवभार्यापहर्तारंदृष्टवाराघव रावणम् ।मर्षयामिकथंवीरजानपौरुषमात्मनः ।।6.41.9।।
tam evaṁ vādinam rāmaṁ sugrīvaḥ pratyabhāṣata ||6.41.8||
tava bhāryāpahartāraṁ dṛṣṭvā rāghava rāvaṇam | marṣayāmi kathaṁ vīra jānan pauruṣam ātmanaḥ ||6.41.9||
جب رام نے یوں کہا تو سگریو نے جواب دیا: "اے بہادر راگھو، آپ کی بیوی کو اغوا کرنے والے راون کو دیکھ کر—اپنی طاقت کو جانتے ہوئے—میں یہ کیسے برداشت کر سکتا ہوں؟"
"You and your son's relatives and followers being killed (by me) the three worlds will be rid of fear of you."
Dharma as loyalty to a righteous ally: Sugriva cannot endure the injustice done to Rama and feels compelled to act in support of dharma.
Sugriva responds to Rama’s words in the war setting, expressing intolerance toward Ravana’s crime and readiness to retaliate.
Sugriva’s steadfast friendship and protective solidarity with Rama.
