युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः

इदानींमाकृथावीर एवंविधमचिन्तितम् ।त्वयिकिञ्चित्समापन्नेकिंकार्यंसीतयामम ।।6.41.4।।भरतेनमहाबाहो लक्ष्मणेनयवीयसा ।शत्रुघ्नेनचशत्रुघ्नस्वशरीरेणवापुन:।। 6.41.5।।
idānīṃ mā kṛthā vīra evaṃvidham acintitam | tvayi kiñcit samāpanne kiṃ kāryaṃ sītayā mama ||6.41.4|| bharatena mahābāho lakṣmaṇena yavīyasā | śatrughnena ca śatrughna svaśarīreṇa vā punaḥ ||6.41.5||
اب، اے بہادر، ایسی بےسوچی اور ناگہانی جسارت نہ کرنا۔ اگر تجھے ذرا سا بھی گزند پہنچا تو میرے لیے—یا سیتا کے لیے—زندگی کی کیا قدر رہ جائے گی؟ پھر بھرت، کم سن لکشمن، شترغن کے لیے کیا معنی رہیں گے؟ بلکہ میرے اپنے جسم کے لیے بھی کیا باقی رہے گا؟
