Portents Before the March to Laṅkā
रजन्यामप्रकाशस्तुसन्तापयतिचन्द्रमाः ।कृष्णरक्तांशुपर्यन्तोलोकक्षयइवोदितः ।।6.23.8।।
rajanyām aprakāśas tu santāpayati candramāḥ | kṛṣṇaraktāṃśuparyanto lokakṣaya ivoditaḥ ||6.23.8||
رات کے وقت بھی چاند بےنور دکھائی دیتا ہے اور دلوں میں سوز و اضطراب پیدا کرتا ہے؛ سیاہ اور سرخ کرنوں کے حلقے میں گھرا ہوا وہ یوں طلوع ہوتا ہے گویا قیامتِ عالم کے وقت کا شعلہ ور چراغ—تباہی کی نحوست کی علامت۔
