तमश्चलोकमाव्रतेदिशश्चवचकाशिरे ।प्रतिचुक्षुभिरेचाशुसरांसिसरितस्तथा ।।।।
tamaś ca lokam āvṛte diśaś ca na cakāśire | praticukṣubhire cāśu sarāṃsi saritas tathā ||
تاریکی نے ساری دنیا کو ڈھانپ لیا؛ سمتیں بھی روشن نہ رہیں، اور جھیلیں اور ندیاں بھی فوراً بےقرار ہو اٹھیں۔
