सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
ताळानदाडिमगुल्मांश्चनारिकेळन्विभीतकान् ।वकुलान्कदिरान्निम्बान्समाजह्रुस्समन्ततः ।।।।
tāḷān dāḍima-gulmāṃś ca nārikelān vibhītakān |
vakulān kadirān nimbān samājahrus samantataḥ ||
وہ ہر سمت سے تال کے درخت، انار کی جھاڑیاں، ناریل، وِبھیتک، بکول، کدیر اور نیم کے درخت جمع کرنے لگے۔
They brought palmira, dadima, coconut, karira, bakula and nimba trees and dropped all of them into the ocean.
Dharma is loka-saṅgraha (holding society together): coordinated gathering from all sides symbolizes shared responsibility for a just collective aim.
The construction effort expands as more materials are collected in bulk from every direction.
Saṅgha-bhāva (spirit of unity) and ājñā-pālana (carrying out assigned work).
