सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
सबभूवतदाकूपोव्रणइत्येभिविश्रुतः ।सततंचोत्थितंतोयंसमुद्रस्येनदृश्यते ।।।।
sa babhūva tadā kūpo vraṇa ity ebhiḥ viśrutaḥ |
satataṃ cotthitaṃ toyaṃ samudrasyeva na dṛśyate ||
تب وہ گڑھا ‘ورن’ یعنی ‘زخم’ کے نام سے مشہور ہوا۔ اور اُس میں سے جو پانی برابر اُبھرتا رہا، وہ سمندر کے پانی ہی کی مانند دکھائی دیتا تھا۔
That well (hole created by the dart) came to be known as Vrana. The water springing out of it forever is like sea water.
