विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
अज्ञातरूपैःपुरुषैस्सराजन्पृच्छ् यतामिति ।यदुक्तमत्रमेप्रेक्षाकाचिदस्तिसमीक्षिता ।।6.17.59।।
ajñāta-rūpaiḥ puruṣaiḥ sa rājan pṛcchyatām iti | yad uktam atra me prekṣā kācid asti samīkṣitā || 6.17.59 ||
اے راجَن! کہا گیا تھا کہ ‘اُسے ایسے مردوں سے پوچھ گچھ کی جائے جن کی شناخت ظاہر نہ ہو’؛ مگر میں نے غور و فکر کے بعد یہاں ایک اور رائے قائم کی ہے۔
Reflecting for a while he addressed Hanuman and the other Vanara leaders in this way.
Dharma in governance: counsel may differ, but decisions should follow careful review (samīkṣā) rather than mere suspicion.
A proposal is raised to interrogate Vibhīṣaṇa through unknown/disguised agents; Mainda responds that he has assessed the issue and disagrees.
