दशरथदर्शनम् — Dasharatha’s Epiphany and Benedictions
Sarga 122
विमानमास्थायमहानुभावःश्रिया च सम्हृष्टतन्नुर्नृपोत्तमः ।आमन्त्यपुत्रौसहसीतया च जगामदेवप्रवरस्यलोकम् ।।।।
vimānam āsthāya mahānubhāvaḥ śriyā ca saṃhṛṣṭatanur nṛpottamaḥ |
āmantrya putrau saha sītayā ca jagāma devapravarasya lokam ||
وہ عظیم الشان، نیک بخت اور مسرور تن بادشاہوں کا سردار وِمان پر سوار ہوا؛ پھر سیتا سمیت دونوں بیٹوں سے رخصت لے کر دیوتاؤں کے سردار کے لوک کی طرف چلا گیا۔
The best of kings, majestic and prosperous Dasharatha was delighted, bidding farewell to the sons and Sita ascended the aerial car and went to the abode of gods.।। itayāraṣēvālamīkīyēśarīmadarāmāyaṇēādikāvayēyudadhakāṇaḍēdavāviṅśatayutataraśatatamasasaragaḥ ।।This is the end of one hundred twenty second sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
It reflects dharma as fulfillment and rightful completion: once counsel is given and righteousness is re-established, the elder king returns to the divine realm, marking moral closure.
Daśaratha, appearing in celestial glory, departs after bidding farewell to Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, and Sītā.
Daśaratha’s dignity and serenity—his joy arises from seeing dharma restored through his sons’ righteous conduct.
