सीताया अग्निप्रवेशः
Sita’s Ordeal by Fire / Agni-Pariksha
न तथास्मिमहाबाहो यथामामवगच्छसि ।प्रत्ययंगच्छमेस्वेनचारित्रेणैवतेशपे ।।।।
na tathāsmi mahābāho yathā mām avagacchasi | pratyayaṃ gaccha me svena cāritreṇaiva te śape ||
اے مہاباہو! میں ویسی نہیں جیسا تم مجھے سمجھتے ہو۔ میرے اپنے چال چلن سے مجھ پر یقین کرو؛ میں تم سے اپنے کردار کی قسم کھا کر کہتی ہوں۔
"O Mighty armed! I am not as you think of me, so also show me a proof of it in my past. I swear on my past."
