Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct
प्रवादस्सत्यएवायंत्वांप्रतिप्रायशोनृप ।।।।प्रतिव्रतानांनाकस्मात्सपत्नत्यश्रूणिभूतले ।
pravādaḥ satya evāyaṃ tvāṃ prati prāyaśo nṛpa |
prativratānāṃ nākasmat patanty aśrūṇi bhūtale |
اے نریپ! تیرے معاملے میں یہ کہاوت سچ ثابت ہوئی: پتی ورتا عورتوں کے آنسو یونہی زمین پر نہیں گرتے۔ اُنہی آنسوؤں کے اثر سے یہ آفت پلٹ کر تجھ پر آ گئی ہے۔
