रावणस्य अन्त्येष्टिः
Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct
ऋषयश्चमहान्तोऽपिगन्धर्वाश्चयशस्विनः ।ननुनामतवोद्वेगाच्चारणाश्चदिशोगताः ।।।।
ṛṣayaś ca mahānto 'pi gandharvāś ca yaśasvinaḥ |
nanu nāma tavodvegāc cāraṇāś ca diśo gatāḥ ||
یہ تو مشہور ہے کہ تیرے خوف سے بڑے بڑے رِشی بھی، نامور گندھرو بھی، اور چارن بھی، سب سمتوں میں بھاگ نکلے تھے۔
"For fear of you, even great seers, illustrious Gandharvas, Charanas also went in all directions, is well known."
