रावणक्रोधः—रामस्य परुषवाक्यम्
Ravana’s Fury and Rama’s Harsh Admonition
शूरोऽहमितिचात्मानमवगच्छसिदुर्मते ।नैवलज्जास्तितेसीतांचौरवद्वृपकर्षतः ।।।।
śūro 'ham iti cātmānam avagacchasi durmate |
aiva lajja sthite sītāṃ cauravad vṛpakarṣataḥ ||
اے بدعقل! تو اپنے آپ کو سورما سمجھتا ہے؛ مگر جب تو نے سیتا کو چور کی طرح گھسیٹ کر لے گیا، تب تجھے ذرا بھی شرم نہ آئی۔
"O Evil minded fellow! You boast yourself as a hero, while you abducted Sita like a thief. Shame did not stand in your way."

Dharma requires inner moral conscience (lajjā) to restrain wrongdoing. Without shame and self-accountability, claims of honor or heroism are false.
