Description of the Pushpaka Vimana and Ravana’s Inner Palace
तासां संवृतदन्तानि मीलिताक्षीणि मारुतिः।अपश्यत्पद्मगन्धीनि वदनानि सुयोषिताम्।।5.9.37।।
tāsāṁ saṁvṛtadantāni mīlitākṣīṇi mārutiḥ |
apaśyat padmagandhīni vadanāni suyoṣitām ||5.9.37||
ماروتی نے اُن شریف النسب عورتوں کے چہرے دیکھے—دانت ڈھکے ہوئے، آنکھیں بند—جو کنول کی مانند خوشبو بکھیرتے تھے۔
Hanuman looked at the faces of the well-bred young women with closed eyes and concealed teeth, fragrant like lotuses.
Dharma is reflected in respectful perception: even while infiltrating an enemy palace, Hanumān observes without violating decorum, maintaining inner purity and restraint.
Hanumān surveys sleeping women in the palace chambers and notes their serene, lotus-like fragrance and appearance.
Self-mastery (indriya-nigraha): he remains unaffected by sensual surroundings.
