दर्शनम् — Rama Receives Sita’s Token and Questions Hanuman
अयं हि जलसम्भूतो मणिस्सज्जनपूजितः।यज्ञे परमतुष्टेन दत्तश्शक्रेण धीमता।।।।
ayaṃ hi jalasambhūto maṇiḥ sajjanapūjitaḥ |
yajñe paramatuṣṭena dattaḥ śakreṇa dhīmatā ||
یہ مَنی پانی سے پیدا ہوا ہے اور سجنوں کے بزرگ اس کی پوجا کرتے ہیں۔ یَجْن میں پرم خوش ہو کر دانا شکَر (اِندر) نے اسے دیا تھا؛ یوں یہ خاندان کا معزز خزانہ بن گیا۔
"This was found in water and was bestowed by Indra out of great joy on Janaka who had performed a grand sacrificial ceremony. So it was worshipped by elders of the family.
Dharma is shown as reverence for rightly obtained sacred gifts and for family tradition: a divine gift received through yajña becomes an object of honorable remembrance, not mere ornament.
Rama recognizes and explains the jewel-token associated with Sita’s family tradition, strengthening the authenticity of Hanuman’s report.
Rama’s satya-oriented discernment: he grounds emotion in verifiable signs and lineage-based memory.
