ततस्तं राक्षसा दृष्ट्वा निर्विचेष्टमरिंदमम्।बबन्धुश्शणवल्कैश्च द्रुमचीरैश्च संहतैः।।।।
tatas taṃ rākṣasā dṛṣṭvā nirviceṣṭam ariṃdamam |
babandhuḥ śaṇa-valkaiś ca druma-cīraiś ca saṃhataiḥ ||
تب راکشسوں نے اسے دیکھا کہ وہ بے جنبش ہے—دشمنوں کو دبانے والا—تو انہوں نے اسے سن کے رسیوں اور مضبوط درختی چھال کے کپڑوں کی پٹیوں سے سختی سے باندھ دیا۔
Then the ogres had Hanuman, the subduer of enemies, who made no effort to move, bound with hemp rope and bark robes.
Forbearance aligned with purpose: Hanumān’s acceptance of restraint supports the larger dharmic objective, demonstrating that endurance can be an active moral choice.
The rākṣasas physically secure Hanumān with additional bindings after he has become motionless under the missile’s effect.
Tolerance and mission-discipline: he permits indignity temporarily for a greater righteous end.
