Sita’s Recognition and Reassurance by the Envoy
kaccin na vyathito rāmaḥ kaccin na paritapyate |
uttarāṇi ca kāryāṇi kurute puruṣottamaḥ ||
"Is Rama the greatest among men not depressed? Does he not feel helpless? He is (perhaps) taking necessary steps (for my recovery).
Dharma as steadfast action: grief must not paralyze duty; the righteous continue to take necessary steps toward justice and restoration.
Sītā anxiously asks Hanumān whether Rāma remains composed and is actively pursuing the means to rescue her.
Dhairya (fortitude) and kartavya-niṣṭhā (commitment to duty): the ideal is to act rightly even under emotional strain.
