सूर्ये चास्तं गते रात्रौ देहं सङ्क्षिप्य मारुतिः।पृषदंशकमात्रः सन् बभूवाद्भुतदर्शनः।।।।
sūrye cāstaṁ gate rātrau dehaṁ saṅkṣipya mārutiḥ |
pṛṣadaṁśakamātraḥ san babhūvādbhutadarśanaḥ ||
جب سورج غروب ہوا اور رات چھا گئی تو ماروتی نے اپنا جسم سمیٹ لیا؛ وہ ایک چھوٹے سے جاندار کے برابر رہ گیا، مگر دیدہ زیب اور عجیب منظر تھا۔
When Sun set, Maruti, the son of the Wind-god, reduced himself at night to the small size of a cat, wonderful to behold.
