Pressed firmly by Hanuman, the mountain was shaken for a moment which caused the flowers to drop down from the tree tops.
The verse primarily serves narrative description; ethically, it supports the dharmic mission by portraying the extraordinary power used in service of a righteous goal.
Hanumān’s contact/pressure upon the mountain causes it to tremble, scattering flowers from the trees.
Hanumān’s immense strength under disciplined purpose (power harnessed for a dharmic task).
